Ramadan 1439

Assalaamu Alaikum

Dear Community Members,

As is the Sunnah of the Prophet SAW for beginning any month based on the sighting of the moon, and if it is not sighted then to finish 30 days of that month.

There were no authentic sightings for the month of Ramadhan, therefore the first Taraweeh will be Wed the 16th of May and the first fast will be Thursday May 17th.

May Allah ﷻ grant us his closeness in this blessed month and accept all of our rightous deeds.

Ramadan Workshop

Assalamu Alaikum.

Dear Community Members,
As some of you might already be aware, we are hosting our yearly Ramadhan Workshop on Sunday May 6th, 2018.

The Ramadhan Workshop serves as purpose for us to learn on how to maximize benefit from the Month of Ramadhan. Some of us have been really fortunate to spend many Ramadhans, but really how many Ramadhans can we say were spent wisely and properly? It’s not that we don’t want to, it’s that we don’t know how to.

Therefore, Alhamdulillah we have about 5 local traditional scholars confirmed to teach as about this Blessed Month and how we can spend it in the way shown to us by the Prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam

The Program will be held at Masjid Suffah of Kennesaw on May 6th from 2-7pm. There will be snacks, breaks, and at the end dinner.

Following is a sign up sheet for those intending on attending. Registration is open to all brothers and sisters from all communities so please spread this message to whomever you can.

Registration Fee is $10 per registrant which includes the booklet, snacks, and dinner.

Please register ASAP as seats are limited for brothers and sisters.
